a5.gg — Using HTML5 localstorage as a quick note taking app

Put this together this afternoon. I've been after something to quickly jot down the odd piece of information that I can access later in the day when browsing the web. Hopefully you find it useful. Criticism/thoughts/ideas greatly appreciated. I should add, since all the hard work here lies in the work of others here — garlic.js is a great plugin for handling localstorage. Cheers Jason

Hey all :) I noticed the development on the Notion web clipper chrome extension is kinda slow, so I built a better one. It works on any web page, any youtube video, and any PDF. Features: - highlight + note + collections - auto-scrollback to your highlights (page automatically scrolls to the text you highlighted and it works on LLMs web interfaces) - automatic sync to Notion (+page+dbs creation) - reminders: the app pings you with an email to review and delete your already-checked highlights (you set the ping period) Let me know what you think. Hey hey! This is a tool I've worked on for a while, and it's reached the point I'm quite happy with the results! Comments and suggestions are appreciated :) Enjoy your day!

It's dead simple. There's no fancy interface. Basic features are gone. That's all on purpose. If you're like me, you're always writing down ideas on pieces of paper. My webapp is like that, but for the internet. Let me know if you find it useful.

  • Leetcode but for front end devs (terrible idea?)2022 · vacation-call-335691.framer.app · ▲8

Howdy friends! Tell me if this is an atrociously terrible idea - I've been working on building a leetcode for clientside devs so we can practice React and Javascript interview questions in a more concise way, I call it clientside.dev I just finished a beta version of it yesterday and plan on releasing it with many more problems on Jan 1st but it's there if you wanna play with it open to any ideas / feedback however mean or nice it may be :)
