Agent Shield
Hey HN, AI agents are all the buzz right now, but how many of them are accessing your website today? That's what we built AgentShield to answer. Most of our users didn't know they had agent traffic until seeing them in our dashboard. You can see traffic broken down by humans, bots, and AI agents. Installation can be as simple as a JS pixel, and it's free. We're currently building out the paid component that will let you block specific agents or types of traffic. Feedback welcome: What else would you want to know about AI agents visiting your site?
Agent Shield launched on October 22, 2025 with 15 votes, #661 of 8,178 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
Identify the non-human traffic on your site - add Agent Shield to determine if each session is a human, a bot, or an AI Agent. Copy and paste the JS pixel into your tag container and start detecting AI traffic within minutes, for free.
Advanced agentic traffic detection. Determine if each session on your site is a human, a bot or an AI agent. Understand your traffic now to determine how to treat each session based on who or what is executing it.
They're already here, browsing and buying, invisible to your security policies. The same bad actors using bots are now using AI agents to commit fraud. AI agent traffic more than doubled in 30 days across our customer base. Without Checkpoint, most sites have two blunt choices: allow all agent traffic or block it all. Block it all and real buyers are turned away. Allow it all and rogue agents can transact freely. Either way, revenue is at risk. Every agent authenticated by a human. Autonomous agents are not anonymous agents. Built on open standards, customized based on your risk policies. Detect every AI agent on your site, enforce what each may do, and issue verifiable credentials tied to…from kya.vouched.id

Agent Browser ShieldJun 2026 · github.com · ▲109I've been experimenting with Claude Code, ChatGPT Agent, and OpenClaw to perform more open-ended tasks for me online. A big blocker I've hit on shopping and research tasks is the agent getting a key piece of info wrong. For example, in one case, my agent decided to add a brand I don't like to the cart because the site flagged it as almost sold out The HN crowd is probably pretty aware of the threats and can avoid them while browsing. But what about their agents? I tried prompting, but it was ineffective, because once the AI saw the threat, it polluted/distracted its context Looking at…

I went down the rabbit hole on a side project and ended up building this: Strange Attractors(https://blog.shashanktomar.com/posts/strange-attractors). It’s built with three.js. Working on it reminded me of the little "maths for fun" exercises I used to do while learning programming in early days. Just trying things out, getting fascinated and geeky, and being surprised by the results. I spent way too much time on this, but it was extreme fun. My favorite part: someone pointed me to the Simone Attractor on Threads. It is a 2D attractor and I asked GPT to extrapolate it to…

Autism Simulator▲779Hey all, I built this. It’s not trying to capture every autistic experience (that’d be impossible). It’s based on my own lived experience as well as that of friends on the spectrum. I'm trying to give people a feel for what masking, decision fatigue, and burnout can look like day-to-day. That’s hard to explain in words, but easier to show through choices and stats. I'm not trying to "define autism". I’ve gotten good feedback here about resilience, meds, and difficulty tuning. I’ll keep tweaking it. If even a few people walk away thinking, "ah, maybe that’s why my coworker struggles in those…
