What it does

In the maker’s words, at launch

Hey Hacker News community! 3 years ago, I launched my first SaaS product, Shoutout, and I am forever grateful to y'all for supporting me massively. Fast forward to today, I won awards, grew it to $30k ARR, sold it, and am now launching another one. Not sure why, but I'm incredibly nervous and excited, so let's get into it Introducing GuestLab As a podcaster who shipped more than 100+ episodes, I spend hours and hours doing guest research(it's exhausting sometimes ). After going through this every week, I thought about building a simple AI-powered solution that could save a lot of time. That's how GuestLab is born 6 months ago, I simply launched a landing page, got 300+ ppl on the waitlist, and started collaborating with my co-founder Mubs to build the MVP. Since then, many podcasters like Lenny Rachitsky, Arvid Kahl, and Justin Jackson have used it, given feedback, and shaped the current product Today, Mubs and I are pumped to bring GuestLab to the Hacker News community! GuestLab is an AI-driven guest research assistant built and designed exclusively for podcasters. How does it work? Simply drop your guest's LinkedIn profile Add custom inputs like episode theme, guest persona, and target audience Hit generate and sit back Based on the guest's LinkedIn activity and your custom inputs, GuestLab AI will instantly generate a well-crafted intro, insights about the guest, 10 interesting topics, and 20 insightful questions Bonus feature: Once the research is generated, you can export it to PDF - this is my favorite feature as I can send it to the guest for review or directly print it out for the interview What's next: We are grateful to have paying customers and have launched it here on Product Hunt last week Based on the feedback we got, we are working on adding YouTube as a source and cooking many more features! Lastly, we're offering a 20% discount on all plans to show our gratitude to the community. Use HN20OFF at checkout Mubs and I are here to answer any questions; we are pumped to hear what you think about GuestLab - Hit us with your feedback in the comments

    I built a chatbot to converse with 3M SaaS product reviews2024 · reviewradar.ai · ▲92

Hey HN, I'm Andrei, and together with my co-founder Roman have been working on a tool called Reviewradar. Working with startups, doing interviews and sifting through endless software reviews are daunting tasks. So, we built a chatbot that lets you chat with over 3 million reviews from more than 100K SaaS products. With Reviewradar, you can ask questions like: - create a comprehensive SWOT analysis for both Notion and Obsidian - give me negative feedback and complaints you have about Postmark - summarise the reviews you have on products in the OCR category I would love to get your feedback on…

    I'm not a programer and I'm building a Saas task-manager2017 · ▲9

I'm documenting everything about my process. From learning to code, to building the app, and all the way to my outreach efforts. I'm learning as I go and sharing it with everyone who's not a programer, and is daunted to build a software on their own. Trust me. If I can do it, anyone can! You can find my updates on: https://Claritask.com ...as well as video updates on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdmqmifW4kIcPclXigay1dQ Would love to hear your feedback on my progress and if you have any suggestions on what I can do better. There's so many task managers out…

    AI as a Mini-Product Manager2024 · ▲6

Hey folks, I'm Yuval. I run a tiny startup called Glitter AI. It's just me full-time here, with a couple of freelances to help here and there. A couple of months ago, I went from managing zero requests to hundreds -- overnight (won Product of the day on Product Hunt). As someone who gets VERY easily distracted (maybe you relate), I had to find some sort of way of handling all the chaos if I didn't want to burn out. I came up with a pretty cool automation flow that I thought folks on HN here may be interested in reading about :) So here goes: Most of my interactions come through Intercom.…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

  • Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…
