What it does
aider-script is a CLI tool that streamlines using aider for common tasks, by allowing you to use reusable prompts templates which support being passed arguments when run. For example you might have a template which adds an API route to your backend server, and it could take the URL pattern as an argument. You might have another template to add unit tests for a React component given the component name, and another which generates mock data for a third-party API call given the object schema name. cargo install aider-script Usage Basic Usage aider-script < template-file > [template-arguments...] Example Template Each prompt template is a markdown document with a frontmatter section (in YAML)…from github.com

Runprompt – run .prompt files from the command lineNov 2025 · github.com · ▲134I built a single-file Python script that lets you run LLM prompts from the command line with templating, structured outputs, and the ability to chain prompts together. When I discovered Google's Dotprompt format (frontmatter + Handlebars templates), I realized it was perfect for something I'd been wanting: treating prompts as first-class programs you can pipe together Unix-style. Google uses Dotprompt in Firebase Genkit and I wanted something simpler - just run a .prompt file directly on the command line. Here's what it looks like: --- model: anthropic/claude-sonnet-4-20250514 output:…
Recursive LLM Prompts2023 · github.com · ▲97I've been playing with the idea of an LLM prompt that causes the model to generate and return a new prompt. https://github.com/andyk/recursive_llm The idea I'm starting with is to implement recursion using English as the programming language and GPT as the runtime. It’s kind of like traditional recursion in code, but instead of having a function that calls itself with a different set of arguments, there is a prompt that returns itself with specific parts updated to reflect the new arguments. Here is a prompt for infinitely generating Fibonacci numbers: > You are a…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
