AIMless – a 10 KB single file P2P chat app with zero dependencies

I built AIMless, a ridiculously minimalistic, browser native chat app that fits entirely into one HTML file (10 KB). It’s decentralized, P2P, and has no build tools, no server, and no frameworks. Just you, your browser, and a copy/pasted blob or two.

In plain words

AIMless is a peer-to-peer chat application contained in a single 10 KB HTML file that runs directly in web browsers. It requires no server, dependencies, build tools, or frameworks—users simply need to copy and paste the file to start chatting. Designed for anyone seeking a minimal, decentralized alternative to traditional messaging platforms, AIMless prioritizes simplicity and independence, making it accessible to users who want to communicate without relying on external infrastructure.

💀 20KB of pure nostalgia 🚫 Zero dependencies 🤝 Two users max (more would require planning) 📋 Connection via clipboard (like animals) What The Hell Is This? I crammed an entire P2P encrypted chat application into a single HTML file. No backend. No build step. No npm. It's literally one file you can email to your mom (please don't). # Just fucking double-click index.html # Yes, from your Downloads folder # Yes, it actually works Method 2: Slightly Less Cursed python3 -m http.server 8000 # Congrats, you're now a sysadmin Method 3: Peak Web Development # Email index.html to your friend # They open it # You're now chatting P2P # Web developers hate this one weird trick 🤡 How To Connect…from github.com

  • Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…
