Analog Reader
A bit of context, Analog Reader is a tool I built that takes any RSS feed (Substack, Ghost, etc.) and formats it as a printable newspaper. I've launched analogreader.com here before, now I'm here just to share some updates. I've since created a Chrome Extension that allows you to send any article you are currently looking at to analogreader.com with one click. That way, it's much easier to transform digital into paper. It's a very simple chrome extension, I don't capture any data from you, it literally just appends the current post url to analogreader.com. Let me know if you have any issues…

What it does
For people who love the internet but hate what it does to their brain. The internet has infinite content. Your attention is finite. Digital collection. Analog consumption. Turn your digital media into a printable newspaper.
Turn the newsletters you love into a printable weekly newspaper. Read it once. Get your week back.
Your subscriptions, the people you follow, and the articles you save, typeset into one paper and sent to your inbox or Kindle. You pick the newsletters. We collect, typeset, and hand you the week. Your subscriptions, the people you follow, the channels you watch, and the articles you save, collected overnight and typeset like a real newspaper. “ That idea of being done was the most compelling part of receiving a print newspaper. There’s just a fixed number of pages. You scan through, find a few things to read, and then eventually reach the last page, and it’s finished …” “ I just want the hour I spend programming, learning, or writing to be just one activity. But instead I spend 10 minute…from analogreader.com

RSS Brain2022 · rssbrain.com · ▲139I wrote an RSS reader called RSS Brain recently. The motivate is the current RSS readers either don't sort articles by priority, which makes it hard to read posts from HackerNews and Reddit, or sort it with some "smart" algorithm which I don't trust. I also like the Google News feature that can show related story from different source, but the sources are not configurable and the algorithm is not transparent either. So with RSS Brain, I implemented these features: * Recommend related articles from the feeds of your choice. It's backed by ElasticSearch and the algorithm is described on RSS…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
