What it does
Apache APISIX is a Cloud-Native API Gateway since 2019, and for now, its community also provides Kubernetes Ingress Controller and Service Mesh. Apache APISIX is based on LuaJIT and Nginx (only use Nginx's Network module), it's used by Tencent, Airwallex, etc.
Apache APISIX is a dynamic, high-performance, open-source API gateway and AI gateway. Features include load balancing, authentication, rate limiting, AI proxying, LLM load balancing, and 100+ plugins.
High-performance traffic management for APIs, microservices, and LLM workloads — dynamic routing, load balancing, authentication, and observability. Learn how an API gateway routes, secures, and observes traffic, and where Apache APISIX fits. Proxy, secure, and govern traffic to documented LLM providers and OpenAI-compatible endpoints with the plugins and observability you already use for APIs. Proxy requests to documented providers and OpenAI-compatible endpoints through one gateway. Distribute traffic across providers and models for throughput and resilience. Fail over to a backup model or provider automatically when one is unavailable. Cap usage and cost with token-based rate limits per…from apisix.apache.org

Run globally distributed full-stack apps on high-performance MicroVMs2023 · koyeb.com · ▲98Hi HN! We’re Yann, Edouard, and Bastien from Koyeb (https://www.koyeb.com/). We’re building a platform to let you deploy full-stack apps on high-performance hardware around the world, with zero configuration. We provide a “global serverless feeling”, without the hassle of re-writing all your apps or managing k8s complexity [1]. We built Scaleway, a cloud service provider where we designed ARM servers and provided them as cloud servers. During our time there, we saw customers struggle with the same issues while trying to deploy full-stack applications and APIs resiliently. As…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

History: Last year I had to replace the tire on my bike, and I was surprised how difficult it was to find a suitable new tire. There were a lot of numbers written on the casing, so I googled what they meant. In the end I was successful, but I didn't want to do the same work again for the next bike after I've forgotten the details. So I wrote this website. Technically, the web page is kept very simple, no frameworks, no templates, no website builder. It uses HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, and it privides a responsive layout for mobile usage. I'm happy to receive feedback. If you have tried the…
