Apploy

Turn your Shopify store into an iOS & Android app

What it does

Apploy turns any Shopify store into a native iOS & Android app - no code, no months-long build. Unlike most builders, it runs directly on your existing theme, so products, content, and discounts stay auto-synced in real time. Standouts: true design parity with your storefront, drag-and-drop customization, unlimited push notifications, app-exclusive discounts, abandoned cart/search recovery, and auto-integration with your existing apps - no double setup.

Build your mobile app in minutes without coding. Engage and retain your most loyal customers with unlimited push notifications.

Apploy is a mobile app builder built for Shopify stores. Build your mobile app without writing code, and publish your branded mobile app on iOS & Android in minutes. It runs on your existing theme, so your mobile app stays in sync with your products, content, and discounts automatically. Customize your app with your own layout, banners, and navigation so it looks like your brand, not a template. Push notifications and app-only perks then turn one-time buyers into repeat customers. All charges are billed in USD. Recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days. Apploy is definitely the way to go if you have multiple integrations with your Shopify store and want to continue offering…from apps.shopify.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
