What it does
ArcSite is the simple, fast way to draw & markup blueprints and floor plans. Take photos and associate them with drawings, manage your own shapes with properties like materials, create your own forms, share and co-edit with coworkers, it is as easy as pen & paper. ArcSite has an open API and can be integrated with AutoCAD and other cloud apps.

I am not a designer nor an architect or anyone who needs to use these sorts of software due to their profession. I was just a person who was looking for an app that could help me restructure my room. My room is a mess right now and I have a ton of furniture that are inefficiently positioned so I needed to make a change but just didn’t know how. I know nothing about designing a floor plan but boy did this app make it extremely easy for me. I needed to know if each type of furniture would fit in the spots I wanted it in and juggle with the structure and the app just made it so much easier for me to get creative. My room isn’t exactly a square shape because it has certain structural bumps(?)…from apps.apple.com

Graphite, a Blender-inspired 2D procedural design Rust app2024 · graphite.rs · ▲785For the past three years I've been building what I hope will be the next Blender, tackling the lack of any good 2D design or image editing tools outside the Adobe monopoly. If you're a Rust dev, consider getting involved as we apply for the next GSoC in the new year— you could be our intern next summer :) Q3 progress report: https://graphite.rs/blog/graphite-progress-report-q3-2024/
