What it does
Two-factor authentication (also known as 2FA) is a method of confirming a user's claimed identity by utilizing a combination of two different components. A program or system intended to distinguish human from machine input, typically as a way of thwarting spam and automated extraction of data from websites. Example.com makes a POST request to https://api.othenticator.com/v1/token with UID , Callback URL , Payload and X-Authorization-Key as parameters. Example.com receives an URL to where the user should be redirected. User is redirected to Othenticator which verifies user identity. Othenticator redirects user back to Callback URL : https://www.example.com/callback?access_token=ACCESS-TOKEN…from othenticator.com
