Open-source auth for enterprise applications, and AI agents
What it does
Own your identity layer. Self-host open-source auth—OAuth2, OIDC, SAML SSO, SCIM, passkeys, MFA, OpenFGA—with permission-aware AI on your own data.
The open-source auth platform you run yourself—authentication, fine-grained authorization, and permission-aware AI, with every user in your own database . $ docker run -p 8080:8080 -u root \ -v authorizer_data:/authorizer/data \ quay.io/authorizer/authorizer \ --database-type=sqlite \ --database-url=/authorizer/data/data.db \ --client-id=123456 \ --client-secret=secret \ --admin-secret=admin \ --jwt-type=HS256 \ --jwt-secret=test \ --encryption-key=test-encryption-key ✓ Auth server live at http://localhost:8080 ✓ Dashboard at http://localhost:8080/dashboard ✓ OIDC config at http://localhost:8080/.well-known/openid-configuration OpenFGA engine embedded · 13+ databases · OAuth2/OIDC Runs on…from authorizer.dev

I’m Rishabh and the co-founder and CTO at https://supertokens.com (YC S20). We offer open-source user authentication and we just released our user roles product for companies implementing authorization. Our users are web developers, and a prominent and adjacent pain point for our users is authorization. Developers typically implement two independent solutions for authentication and authorization. Offering AuthN and AuthZ in a single solution is something we’ve been thinking about for the last few years. Quick primer, authentication is knowing who the user is, and authorization is…

Hi folks! I'm Ulysse, and Tesseral (https://github.com/tesseral-labs/tesseral) is open-source auth for B2B SaaS. Early in my career, I worked on enterprise auth and security features at Segment. I've been obsessed with the subtle details of enterprise software ever since. For example, I wrote an implementation of SAML in the early days of the COVID pandemic because I thought it was fun. Over the years, I've felt frustrated that too few people have seemed interested in making auth obvious for developers of business software. Auth really doesn't need to be so confusing. We…

I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
