What it does
Basedash for Grok Bot sends questions to governed company data and brings the answer back into your agent. Open Plugins, add Basedash, sign in with OAuth, then ask “Which accounts drove this quarter’s NRR change?” or list the sources you can use. One hosted MCP, no API keys. Your existing Basedash workspace access controls still apply. Also available in Cursor.

Today we’re launching Basedash for Grok Bot — the official Basedash plugin for asking questions of governed company data without leaving your agent. Open Plugins , add Basedash, sign in through OAuth, and ask a question. The answer comes back through Basedash from the sources your workspace already lets you access. The plugin has been live on the official Cursor Marketplace since August 24. It is also available in Cursor. In Grok Bot, open Plugins in the sidebar, search for Basedash , and add it. I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
