I tried to basically copy-paste the html from Archive.org and grabbed the posts from here: https://gitlab.com/dwrodri/bash_irc_quotes It's missing a few of the more recent posts which I'll try grab myself sometime. But all the classics should be there.
Bash.org Archive launched on January 16, 2024 with 5 votes and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 2 years on.
What it does
If you like or dislike a quote, vote with the + and - links. If you feel that the quote doesn't deserve to be in the database at all, click its [X] link next to it; while the quote will not be removed from the database immediately, it will be resubmitted for review, and it is possible that it will be removed. 2024-01-13 The old site went down, so this is a static archive. I've left the rest of the homepage mostly in it's old state for posterity. Love you IRC. 2017-02-28 Queue now at zero. Fixed PHP encoding issues that caused some quotes to not be displayed. Changed voting button behavior to popup instead of browsing away. Blocking the popups will not affect your ability to vote.from bash-org-archive.com
