See your reaction time as a percentile, not a number

What it does

BenchSelf runs 19 browser self-tests: reaction time, click speed, memory, hearing, colour vision and pointing hardware. 17 of them return a percentile plus the device class it was computed within, because 240 ms on a mouse and 240 ms on a phone are not the same result.

Measure your visual reaction time in milliseconds, then see exactly where you rank against everyone else on the same kind of device. Five trials, no sign up.

Wait for red to turn green, then click as fast as you can. Five trials, then we place you in the population. The median on mouse is 273 ms . Run the test and we will place you against it. Your monitor, mouse, and browser all sit between you and this number. Compare results only across the same setup. Curve is a fitted baseline plus 4 first attempts recorded here.   • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it.
