What it does
BidLight, helps architects, estimators and designers, estimate the labor, equipment and material cost of their 3D designs, and share both cost and design with their clients in a 3D web based viewer.
Coordinate the model and manage its cost in one place. BidLight versions every Revit export, compares it element by element, pins every coordination issue to the geometry and the person who owns it, and shows what every change costs, revision by revision.
Owners, contractors and specialty trades coordinate on BidLight. These are the questions that cost money every week, and the reason they are hard to answer is that nothing on the project keeps a record of them. Someone moved a duct. Nobody knows who, or when, or why. The coordination meeting spends two hours finding out. You find out at the GC coordination meeting, three weeks after the slip started. Scattered across Teams, email and Bluebeam. Nobody can find the one they need. Every week a clash sits unresolved, the work behind it stops.
