Bits – Content-Agnostic Personal Storage
Hi HN! I've been working on a startup project called Bits: https://bitsdrive.com Bits is a personal storage drive that lets you store different kinds of content - from text, lists, code, files, photos and videos, links and more. I've been a big user of Google Drive, but it frustrated me that these Drives didn't have a super easy way to just write stuff down. You either have to use yet another app, or even worse create files to remember small things. Bits brings both storage and note-taking worlds into a simple to use app. I would love for you to check it out at…

I've decided to bite the bullet and release Bitbox.co and get some feedback. I've been coding for years and one of the things I constantly see companies do is write and rewrite a document storage system, so I decided to write one for them. Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
