BitSplit Media Delivery

What it does

BitSplit changes how WordPress delivers public media. The free version reconstructs images in the visitor's browser through short-lived sessions instead of leaving a complete file at a stable URL. Pro adds audio and video protection. It works with the Media Library, Gutenberg, featured images, srcset, and native audio/video blocks without an external service. It adds friction to direct downloads, hotlinking, and generic scraping. It is not DRM or encryption.

  I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it.
