What it does

Blanc is a minimal desktop browser for macOS, Windows, and Linux with built-in ad and tracker blocking, private tabs, tab groups, and keyboard-first commands.

A minimal desktop browser for macOS, Windows and Linux, with built-in ad and tracker blocking. Choose from five start-page layouts: Ledger, Billboard, Shelf, Tally, and Mahjong. Jump to the sites you visit often, pick up a group of tabs, or take a moment to play. Built-in blocking reduces ads and known trackers, with a per-site switch when you need it. Private tabs stay out of Blanc history, session restore and Recently Closed. Press ⌘L or Ctrl+L to search tabs, Favorites and history, or type / for browser commands. Choose another open tab for Glance and read it beside your main page. Resize the split or close the temporary view when you are done. Pick a tab or group from Recently Closed.…from blancbrowser.com

  Hi HN, I'm excited to share my open source project, a browser orchestrator. It's purpose is to make it easy to manage many browser profiles on one system. Currently it only works on MacOS, but since I've built it using Tauri (which is a Rust backend and TypeScript frontend), I expect to add Linux and Windows support in the future. I've built it primarily for myself as I use a lot of browsers and having an easy way to manage all of my profiles would make (have made, actually) my dock less cluttered haha.
