It seems a bit silly at first glance, but quite a few people got hooked on it as it's quite different to stuff before. Tech: Android and iOS native apps backed by a parse.com backend. Thoughts on Parse.com: Reasonably good, previously I've used heroku and built my own JSON API for a mobile backend. It was pretty damn fast to create my own custom functions in cloud code and generally quite a good experience. Did encounter quite a few problems on both iOS and Android, particularly around local storage/caching but nothing we couldn't work around for a first version.
