Brand My Jersey

Your brand, on my jersey

What it does

I'm 19, I run track and field and I'm building a startup. Ten sponsor spots on the jersey I compete and film in and the money buys the gear that launches it.

Fourteen sponsor spots on the jersey I train, race and film in. Pay by card, your logo runs with me.

I’m 19, a solo builder and a track & field athlete. What I’d love to have: a MacBook Pro, Apple M5 — the machine I build the company on. So I’m renting out the one surface people actually look at. I’m financing the machine I build the company on by selling the one surface people actually look at: the jersey I train, race and film in. Drag the jersey or the slider to see the back. Tap a zone to take it — card checkout, four to six months on the jersey. “Final look” is a preview with placeholder brands — every zone is still open. Every spot shows its current top bid. Pay by card and it’s yours — outbid before the end and you get refunded in full. Spots from 150 € Small · 200 € Medium · 500 €…from brandmyjersey.lol

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
