What it does

The Bullshit Detector is an experiment that aims to give people a tool to determine the likelihood of a particular piece of text being bullshit. It scales the results from 0 to 100 with 100 being absolutely, positively, the gold standard for bullshit.

We are advocates of the international movement to protect personal privacy. As such, we do not intentionally collect any personally identifiable information (“PII”). We only collect IP addresses and the textual material or URL of the source material used in the detector’s analysis (“Usage Data”). Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
