CardWarden: Family Card Wallet
Family loyalty & gift card wallet with live sync
What it does
Loyalty & gift cards in one encrypted family wallet. Share a pocket once, every phone gets the live barcode and balance. When someone spends, the household updates instantly. No chat screenshots. No double-spend at checkout. Scan barcodes, track balances, checkout offline. Card data is encrypted on-device before upload. iOS app is live on the App Store. Android beta remains open while waiting for approval on the Play Store. Built for households who stack gift cards and still want privacy.
Store loyalty and gift cards in one encrypted wallet. Check balances in-app, sync across all your devices. Share with family when you choose.
Store every loyalty and gift card in one encrypted wallet. Check balances in-app, sync across all your devices. Share with family when you choose. Invite household members to a shared pocket when you want to. Everyone gets live barcodes and balances without screenshots in group chat. Works great solo. Even better together. Migrating from Stocard, Klarna, or another wallet? Screenshot your cards and import them in one batch. On-device OCR matches templates and colors, so you are not retyping every barcode. Nothing leaves your phone. Log remaining value and check balances using the retailer's own balance checker, right inside the app. Know exactly how much is left before you checkout.…from cardwarden.app

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
