What it does

CentsMath is a growing set of free US finance calculators for the money decisions people actually face - debt payoff, mortgage extra payments, Roth vs Traditional, HYSA vs CD vs Treasury, Coast FIRE, and more. Every tool shows its formula in plain English, cites the primary source (IRS, CFPB, TreasuryDirect), and has its math covered by automated tests. No signup, no paywall, and nothing you type ever leaves your browser.

  Made this using Power BI and the Crypto Watch API. Started making this in November 2021, but never got around to publishing it, so that is the reason for the 'FOMO' in the title - probably a good thing if you 'missed out' on the crypto hype late last year. Now it serves as a way to see how much you 'saved' by not putting in money. Hope someone finds it fun!

  I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it.
