Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Free chess clock apps are often ad-cluttered or app-store-only. So, I built Chess Clock Online — a browser-based timer, zero sign-up, zero ads. FIDE-standard Bullet/Blitz/Rapid presets, Fischer/Bronstein/simple delay modes, FIDE multi-stage controls, and a Face-to-Face mode that flips the screen 180° for two players sharing one device. Works offline once loaded. Try it for your next OTB game — feedback welcome!

Bullet, blitz, rapid and classical time controls with real Fischer, Bronstein and delay increments, FIDE-standard multi-stage controls, and a face-to-face mode built for two players sharing one screen. We looked at what existing free chess clocks get right — and what they leave out. Competitors only offer a plain Fischer increment. We add Bronstein delay and US/simple delay too. Set a second time control that kicks in after a move count, matching FIDE-standard multi-stage formats. Flip the top clock 180° so two players sharing one tablet can both read their own time right-side up. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
