You’re not going to trust the first result you see in a “top-10” marketing blog post. Often, you need to read dozens of articles and Reddit threads to establish consensus on whatever you’re looking for. This is hard work, so we have an AI do this research while you can watch in real time. The final result is a permanent article summarizing consensus views. Unlike closed chatbots, our articles are public by default so improvements submitted by our users compound with time. Our research is composed of several question decomposition + retrieval models executing in parallel, plus iterative reflection points where the model verifies that all parts of a query have been handled. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
