What it does
It's a privacy-first file sharing tool. Your file is encrypted in your browser before upload. Our servers never see your original file contents. Encrypted files exist on the server only briefly for email delivery, then are deleted.

CifraGuard encrypts your files in your browser before upload, so your data stays in your hands — free, with no registration. AES-256 encryption happens locally before anything leaves your device. We don't profile or collect personal data—just the minimum to run the service. Encrypted files are removed right after sending; keys are not stored on our servers. Sending an encrypted file takes less than a minute — no account needed. Choose any file up to 10 MB and enter the recipient's email plus a second email for the key. Your browser encrypts the file with AES-256 before upload. The encrypted file and the decryption key are sent in two separate emails, so intercepting one alone reveals…from cifraguard.com

Hi HN, I'm building ThirdCloud with the goal to replace Google Drive for everyone: more private, cheaper & maybe better UI/UX. So far, I've successfully implemented the main feature, which involves uploading and downloading files. Files are encrypted before being sent to IPFS network.
