Circle calendar
A customizable circular calendar
Circle calendar launched on November 10, 2020 with 9 votes, #1,053 of 3,499 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches.
What it does
Depicting a year with 12 rectangles is very boring, that's why I took a more natural approach and created one that works in circles. The website I created is a unique tool with almost infinite possibilities to visualize the year as a circle.

I've always had a hard time visualizing the relative order and distance between months using a standard columnar calendar. So I made this circular calendar. It's similar to other circular calendars, however I tried to fashion it more like a clock (1-12) to help make the visual connection between the month name and the month number.

Inspired by Minimal[1] and Netnik[2] printable calendars, I wanted a way to fit as many habits on a single sheet of paper as possible. This is very much a work-in-progress, so beware of bugs. I will flush it out over the next few days. Happy New Year, everyone! [1] https://useminimal.com/habit-tracker [2] https://neatnik.net/calendar/

Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

The same H100 rents at a 2x spread depending on who’s asking, and once you sign a 24-month lease, it can never change hands. So we built a market for GPU nodes, sold by the calendar week. Here are three things you can do on it that you can’t do anywhere else: - Buy exactly the weeks you need. Three nodes for the last…
