AI-Powered Hardware Design & Verification Copilot
Cirkitly launched on August 6, 2025 with 3 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
Spec2RTL is an AI copilot that turns natural language hardware specs into Verilog RTL + SystemVerilog testbenches. With self-correction, RAG, and automated validation, it gets you from spec to simulation in minutes. Local (Ollama) + Cloud (Azure) supported.
Project Status: Discontinued, New repository: spec2rtl-plugin - Cirkitly/spec2rtl
This project is discontinued and no longer under active development. The last meaningful development cycle concluded in mid-2025. Rather than continuing work on this CLI-based implementation, development has moved to a new successor project with a cleaner architecture and a stronger focus on plugin-based, hardware-centric AI workflows . Spec2RTL is an autonomous AI assistant that transforms high-level hardware specifications into verified, ready-to-use Verilog RTL and a corresponding SystemVerilog testbench. It leverages a multi-agent workflow, a self-correction loop, and a custom knowledge base to automate the most tedious parts of the hardware design lifecycle. This isn't just a code…from github.com

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript.
