Citizen is a mobile app that sends users location-based safety alerts in real time. It allows users to read updates about ongoing reports, broadcast live video, and leave comments. The app is currently available for iOS and Android devices in 20 cities.

Receive real-time alerts, live video from the scene, and immediate incident updates on the free Citizen app. Receive push notifications when there’s an incident nearby so you can avoid that area. If you're nearby an incident unfolding, record video to help others stay safe. If there’s commotion like police activity, helicopters, or road closures, pull up the app and instantly find out why. Live videos show you what’s really happening. See incidents unfold from different angles to get a clear view of the situation.
