ClearWord

The Bible. Clearly understood

What it does

ClearWord is a Bible study app designed to reduce confusion, not add noise. It combines trusted translations (KJV, NIV, ESV), semantic search for verses you can’t remember word-for-word, verse-level tools (notes, highlights, sharing), and guided explanations to help readers understand Scripture in context. No paywalls. No engagement tricks. Just tools for careful reading.

Wanted to share a project I've been working on the last year! It's a simple, thoughtfully designed Bible app designed to help you focus on the text above all else. I felt really dissatisfied with the low quality of Bible apps available. The popular Bible app by YouVersion is so full of popups, feeds, notifications, and social media integrations that the Bible itself seemed like a side feature to me. I set out to make something simple, beautiful, focused, and delightful to use. I also wanted to add a couple features that I saw missing from other Bible apps. The 2 most notable are a reading…

  • Hey we are Computable. We spent years building trading infrastructure at Jump Trading and Coinbase. From that point of view, compute looks like energy markets before 2000: everything trades through private bilateral leases, there’s no visible price, and nothing can be resold. The same H100 rents at a 2x spread depending on who’s asking, and once you sign a 24-month lease, it can never change hands. So we built a market for GPU nodes, sold by the calendar week. Here are three things you can do on it that you can’t do anywhere else: - Buy exactly the weeks you need. Three nodes for the last…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
