Clipsmasher is a video editor for Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android. Import your own footage and cut it on a timeline, or type and dictate the edit in ordinary language and let the app carry it out. Effects, transitions, audio mixing and export up to 4K, all of it running on the machine in front of you, none of it touching a server. Clipsmasher edits media you already have. You bring in video, audio and images, and the app trims, arranges, grades, mixes and renders them. It does not generate footage, images, scenes, avatars or voices, and there is no prompt box that produces a video out of a description. What is unusual about it is the second way to drive it.
