Cocommit – A copilot for git commit
I've built a lightweight copilot that integrates with Git commits, leveraging LangChain to support multiple LLM providers. I currently use it with Claude 3.7 (via Bedrock) and OpenAI’s GPT-4o, but I’d love to see how it performs with other LLMs. If you have access to any LangChain-supported LLMs, I’d really appreciate a quick test! Your feedback via GitHub Issues would be invaluable in improving the project. Thanks in advance!

In plain words
Cocommit is a lightweight tool that generates Git commit messages using AI language models. It integrates with Git workflows and supports multiple LLM providers through LangChain, including Claude 3.7 and GPT-4o. The tool is designed for developers who want to automate commit message writing and works with any LangChain-compatible language model.

diny2025 · github.com · ▲175Hi everyone, I built a CLI tool called *diny* that generates Git commit messages directly from your staged changes. - It runs `git diff` and filters out noise like lockfiles, build artifacts, and binaries. - From the cleaned diff it suggests a clear commit message. - You can confirm or refine the message before committing. Key points: - No setup or API keys required. - Lightweight, local-first workflow. - Supports different lengths and styles (short, normal, long; conventional or simple). - Built in Go with Cobra for a familiar CLI experience. OpenCopilot – Build and embed open-source AI copilots into your product2023 · github.com · ▲109Hey HN OpenCopilot is an OSS framework which helps devs to build open-source AI Copilots that actually work and embed into their product with ease. Why another LLM framework? Twitter is full of impressive LLM applications but once you peel off the curtains it’s clear that they are just demos. The reason being because building an AI Copilot that goes beyond a Twitter demo can be complex, time-consuming and unreliable. Our team has been in the AI space since 2018 and built numerous LLM apps & copilots. While doing that, we got approached by many startups saying they’d also like to build a…
TurboPilot: Copilot clone runs code completion LLM on your CPU2023 · github.com · ▲37Hi HN, I spent my easter weekend stuck in the house with COVID and I decided to play with llama.cpp [1] and fauxpilot [2] to see if I could get LLM code assist working on pure CPU. As a proof of concept I'd say I've proven that it's possible. However there's still a lot to do. The auto complete is quite slow at the moment. PRs welcome. Git Auto Commit (GAC) – LLM-powered Git commit command line toolOct 2025 · github.com · ▲56GAC is a tool I built to help users spend less time summing up what was done and more time building. It uses LLMs to generate contextual git commit messages from your code changes. And it can be a drop-in replacement for `git commit -m "..."`. Example: feat(auth): add OAuth2 integration with GitHub and Google - Implement OAuth2 authentication flow - Add provider configuration for GitHub and Google - Create callback handler for token exchange - Update login UI with social auth buttons Don't like it? Reroll with 'r', or type `r "focus on xyz"` and it rerolls the commit with your feedback. You…
