CodeCanary

Turn session replays into revenue

CodeCanary launched on April 24, 2026 with 65 votes, #827 of 21,248 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches.

What it does

CodeCanary watches your session replays and conversion funnels to look for: 1. bugs, 2. UX friction, and 3. conversion optimization ideas. Once it finds an opportunity, it creates a pull request in the style of your existing pull requests.

CodeCanary finds UI/UX bugs in web apps using browser agents. We find the bugs only your users knew about.

Your team is writing 10x the code, but Playwright tests aren't cutting it. CodeCanary finds the bugs that slip through the cracks. Most QA is still done with unit tests: did the button click work? Did the next page load? We train agents to behave like real users and read like humans, way better than click+screenshot loops. Every bug report is verified by an engineer before being sent to your team and includes both an explanation of the bug and a suggested fix. Customize the frequency and depth of agentic QA, or focus on particular parts of your application. We'll help you choose settings that make sense, whether you're a two-person startup or a big team. Our agents register like anyone…from codecanary.ai

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
