CODEDOC is an open-source tool that helps you with creating beautiful and modern software documentation. It creates a JAMStack app from your markdown files that you can easily deploy on services such as GitHub Pages. Assume you have a repo on github named my-project and want to write documentations for it using codedoc. Install the codedoc cli, clone your repo locally, then: Open a browser on the URL the CLI tool tells you (e.g. localhost:3000/my-project ) and see the docs boilerplate. Your markdown files by default are located at docs/md/ , for example the main page you see will be from docs/md/index.md . The table of contents will also by default be on docs/md/_toc.md . Hi HN! I've been working on a code review app for GitHub called Crocodile for about a year. I used to work at Microsoft where we used a tool called CodeFlow for reviewing code and I missed it after I left. I know many other ex-Microsoft engineers feel the same. Here are some of the distinguishing features of Crocodile that are inspired by CodeFlow: * Comments float above the code instead of being inline. Long discussions that are displayed inline make it really hard to review the code. * Comment on any text selection in the file, even a single character. * Comments don't get lost when code…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • https://github.com/OlexG/finclaw ^ repo if anyone wants to contribute. I realized that sometimes I'm pretty good at making random guesses about the future. (I.E, I think OpenAI will beat Anthropic in the short term, etc...) However, I'm bad at converting these guesses into actual market plays I can profit from. As such, I wanted to make a tool that connects to the right APIs and launches a swarm of agent experts to generate related plays based on your prediction. The very first super shitty V0 MPV just has Polymarket/Kalshi bets, but I will be adding a more complex…
