In plain words
Cognee is an open-source semantic memory layer designed for AI agents that uses vector and graph databases to build knowledge graphs from retrieved data. It allows AI applications and agents to provide accurate, context-aware responses with minimal code integration. The tool is built as an SDK and targets developers creating AI-powered systems that need to maintain and access structured information efficiently.

cognee is an open-source semantic memory layer for AI agents, built on vector and graph databases. It constructs knowledge graphs from retrieved data, enabling AI apps and agents to deliver accurate, context-aware responses.
Cognee is the open-source agent memory platform for LLM agents. Build persistent memory across sessions with graph, vector, and relational retrieval that runs self-hosted, in Docker, on-prem, or on Cognee Cloud.
Connect Slack , GitHub , Linear to Cognee and help agents recall what your company knows. The answer is spread across a doc, a ticket, and your Claude session, leaving your colleagues to redo work already done. Your agent is solving a task it already solved last week, wasting tokens and your time. Your organization runs on rules no model was trained on, so your agents invent their own. “ Knowledge graphs for representing information are unbeatable . I used cognee. ” “ Bookmark this immediately. cognee just solved the biggest problem with AI skills/prompts. Try not to fall behind. ” “ Build agents that never forget . Cognee is an open-source tool built for exactly this. ” “ Most AI agents…from cognee.ai

Cognee – Open-Source AI Memory Layer That Remembers Context2025 · github.com · ▲9Hey HN! We're Vasilije, Laszlo and Lazar, the authors of a new paper and part of https://www.cognee.ai. cognee let’s you build memory layers for AI applications and agents, allowing them to personalize results, connect various data sources, and add custom rules. This enables AI apps to deliver increasingly accurate responses, we reached almost 90% on standard industry benchmarks as you can see here https://github.com/topoteretes/cognee/tree/main/evals and our paper can be accessed at: https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.24478 and collab…

One memory, not one per tool. Cog gives AI agents a shared, structured memory layer using plain-text files — portable across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Copilot, and more.

Cognitora2025 · cognitora.dev · ▲86Built a multi-agent research system with OpenAI Agents SDK where specialized AI agents collaborate autonomously: Master Orchestrator → Data Analyst → Statistician → Report Writer Each agent has specific expertise. The orchestrator delegates tasks. All agents can execute code securely to solve problems. Example workflow: "Analyze e-commerce data" - Data Analyst: writes Python to load/clean data, spots trends - Statistician: performs significance tests, calculates growth rates - Report Writer: synthesizes findings into executive summary This demonstrates OpenAI Agents SDK's handoff system…
Clawe – open-source Trello for agent teamsFeb 2026 · github.com · ▲62We recently started to use agents to update some documentation across our codebase on a weekly basis, and everything quickly turned into cron jobs, logs, and terminal output. it worked, but was hard to tell what agents were doing, why something failed, or whether a workflow was actually progressing. We thought it would be more interesting to treat agents as long-lived workers with state and responsibilities and explicit handoffs. Something you can actually see and reason about, instead of just tailing logs. So we built Clawe, a small coordination layer on top of OpenClaw that lets agent…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
