What it does
We rebuild the numbers trading platforms advertise: fees against stated yield, withdrawal costs, and what the small print changes. Read the analyses and check the registers yourself.
A percentage on a landing page is not a result. It is an output of a calculation somebody else ran, using inputs they have chosen not to show you. Coinalytics Lab exists to rebuild that calculation: fees against stated yield, financing against leverage, withdrawal costs against the balance you were shown. We publish no forecasts and no trading signals. We do not tell anyone what to buy. The only thing we produce is the sum an advertisement skipped, plus an honest list of what we could not confirm. Every piece on this site follows the same route, and the route is the reason the pieces are comparable. The last step is the one that keeps the rest honest. I released this JS library last month (today is version 2.0 release, fixing v1.0's rough edges), it makes use of HTML5's pushState and preloading to make a website instant. It works like this: before clicking on a link, you'll hover over it. And there's a delay of 200-300 ms between these two events.
