Generate colour palettes from a base colour: random, monochromatic, complementary, analogous, triadic or tetradic. Lock the colours you want to keep, shuffle the rest, save palettes and export them as CSS, JSON or a PNG.

Nine colours built from one. Choose how they relate, lock the ones you want to keep, and shuffle until the rest agree with them. Press the space bar for a whole new set. Every option here is a rule for where the other colours sit relative to the first one on the colour wheel. The rule decides the character of the palette before you touch a single value. One hue, many lightnesses. The safest palette there is, and the easiest to make dull. It works when the shapes and type are doing the interesting work and the colour only has to organise them.
