Company hiring trends and insights from job postings
I been building a view into companies based on their job postings. I am hoping it is useful to get a quick snapshot on the company say for interview prep etc. Please be advised that it is still a WIP in terms of data quality. Example urls: https://jobswithgpt.com/company-profiles/openai/ https://jobswithgpt.com/company-profiles/advanced-micro-devi...
In plain words
This tool analyzes companies through their job postings to create quick company profiles for job seekers preparing for interviews. Users can view hiring trends and insights for specific organizations, with example profiles available for companies like OpenAI and Advanced Micro Devices. The creator notes the data quality is still under development, making it a work-in-progress resource for those seeking a snapshot of company hiring patterns and focus areas.

Hi HN! A few days ago I saw a graph[0] that showed the # of job postings on HN was declining. I started wondering what other trends I could glean from the data, so I created this! You can filter through the top level comments by keyword; for example you can filter by "remote" to see the massive spike around March 2020. Another interesting thing I found is that I can compare hiring across cities. I hope you enjoy! I made it so that the links to your search are sharable so if you have some interesting data you should be able to just link the page you're on! [0]…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
