Context Sync

Persistent AI memory across Claude Desktop & Cursor IDE

Context Sync launched on October 23, 2025 with 95 votes, #326 of 8,178 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches.

What it does

The first MCP server syncing AI context across Claude Desktop & Cursor IDE. Never lose conversations, decisions, or project state to context window limit again. Includes todo management, code analysis, git integration & 50+ tools. 100% local & open source.

Local persistent memory store for LLM applications including continue.dev, cursor, claude desktop, github copilot, codex, antigravity, etc. - Intina47/context-sync

Context Sync is built for session continuity. Instead of relying on a model to remember earlier conversations, it stores the project context that matters and makes it retrievable through a small MCP tool surface. npm install -g @context-sync/server Auto-configuration runs during global install. After install, restart your AI tool. If you install locally instead of globally, auto-config does not run. Use the manual config guide in docs/CONFIG.md . If auto-config fails, use docs/TROUBLESHOOTING.md and docs/CONFIG.md . 1. set_project({ path: "/absolute/path/to/project" }) 2. recall() 3. structure({ depth: 2 }) 4. read_file({ path: "src/index.ts" }) 5. remember({ type: "decision", content: "Use…from github.com

Cursor IDE now remembers your coding prefs using MCP2025 · ▲109

Hi, I'm Daniel from Zep. I've integrated the Cursor IDE with Graphiti, our open-source temporal knowledge graph framework, to provide Cursor with persistent memory across sessions. The goal was simple: help Cursor remember your coding preferences, standards, and project specs, so you don't have to constantly remind it. Before this integration, Cursor (an AI-assisted IDE many of us already use daily) lacked a robust way to persist user context. To solve this, I used Graphiti’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which allows structured data exchange between the IDE and Graphiti's temporal…

    Recall: Give Claude memory with Redis-backed persistent context2025 · npmjs.com · ▲171

Hey HN! I'm José, and I built Recall to solve a problem that was driving me crazy. The Problem: I use Claude for coding daily, but every conversation starts from scratch. I'd explain my architecture, coding standards, past decisions... then hit the context limit and lose everything. Next session? Start over. The Solution: Recall is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives Claude persistent memory using Redis + semantic search. Think of it as long-term memory that survives context limits and session restarts. How it works: - Claude stores important context as "memories" during…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • I went down the rabbit hole on a side project and ended up building this: Strange Attractors(https://blog.shashanktomar.com/posts/strange-attractors). It’s built with three.js. Working on it reminded me of the little "maths for fun" exercises I used to do while learning programming in early days. Just trying things out, getting fascinated and geeky, and being surprised by the results. I spent way too much time on this, but it was extreme fun. My favorite part: someone pointed me to the Simone Attractor on Threads. It is a 2D attractor and I asked GPT to extrapolate it to…

  • Hey all, I built this. It’s not trying to capture every autistic experience (that’d be impossible). It’s based on my own lived experience as well as that of friends on the spectrum. I'm trying to give people a feel for what masking, decision fatigue, and burnout can look like day-to-day. That’s hard to explain in words, but easier to show through choices and stats. I'm not trying to "define autism". I’ve gotten good feedback here about resilience, meds, and difficulty tuning. I’ll keep tweaking it. If even a few people walk away thinking, "ah, maybe that’s why my coworker struggles in those…
