Cortex

AI log monitor for your homelab — no cloud, no noise

What it does

Cortex connects a local LLM (Ollama) to your Docker stack and reads your *arr logs the way you would — understanding context, suppressing noise, surfacing only what matters. Every 30 minutes it analyses Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, qBittorrent logs. Filters ffprobe noise, 429s, health checks. Routes only real alerts to ntfy. Daily digest at 09:00. No cloud. No subscriptions. Your logs never leave your network.

Does the same job

I started using Claude Code (claude --dangerously-skip-permissions) and Codex (codex --yolo) and realized I had no reliable way to know what they actually did. The agent's own output tells you a story, but it's the agent's story. logira records exec, file, and network events at the OS level via eBPF, scoped per run. Events are saved locally in JSONL and SQLite. It ships with default detection rules for credential access, persistence changes, suspicious exec patterns, and more. Observe-only – it never blocks. https://github.com/melonattacker/logira

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
