What it does
The Finder alternative from the future. An all new file explorer with a beautiful customizable appearance, new features, and a flexible, intuitive interface.
Cosmil is a fast, private, and aesthetic file manager for macOS with multi-pane layouts, advanced search, and every fix Finder never got.
A fast, private, and genuinely beautiful file manager — with multi-pane layouts, advanced search, and every quality-of-life fix Finder never got around to. That's not a mockup — Cosmil's window is genuinely transparent, blurring and darkening whatever sits behind it. Finder gives you one folder per window and leaves you to manage the pile. Cosmil splits a single window as many times as your monitor allows — watch it happen. You know exactly what these are. You hit them daily, and you stopped expecting Apple to fix them years ago. Cosmil did. New items always land in the folder you're looking at, never the one you're pointing at. So you make it here and drag it there. Start a drag before…from cosmil.app

Many years ago, I made VJ softwares (to mix live visuals in clubs) for unexpected platforms like the Game Boy Advance, the Playstation 2 and the Raspberry Pi. This year, I’m back with a new web-app: Pikimov. Inspired by Photopea (a free Photoshop clone), I created this web-based motion design & video editor as an alternative to After Effects, to fill empty void. It's free, without signup, without cloud uploads (your files stay on your machine), and your projects are not used for AI models training.
