What it does
Critiq is a desktop Git client built for reviewers. Compare branches and PRs with inline comments, see history + blame overlays, and right-click to explain/triage diffs using your favorite LLM (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Qwen, Llama Code, HTTP/LM Studio). macOS/Windows/Linux; $29 one-time personal license.
Critiq is a native desktop Git client for macOS, Windows, and Linux that brings full LSP-powered navigation into every diff and PR review. Hover for types, jump to definitions, navigate symbols. $29 one-time.
Hover for types. Jump to definitions. Navigate symbols. In the diff: no tab-switching, no browser. Critiq is a full-featured native Git client for macOS, Windows, and Linux, with LSP-powered code intelligence in every diff. Commit graph, staging, conflict resolution, security guardrails, and PR review in one workspace. $29 one-time. Yours forever. LSP-aware review with references, symbol context, and diff navigation in the same workspace. - Reviewing PRs in a browser tab with no code navigation. - Context-switching to your IDE for every definition lookup. - Paying $100/year subscriptions for a Git GUI you barely use. + Critiq fixes all three. I built a free in-browser Llama 3 chatbot powered by WebGPU2024 · github.com · ▲547I spent the last few days building out a nicer ChatGPT-like interface to use Mistral 7B and Llama 3 fully within a browser (no deps and installs). I’ve used the WebLLM project by MLC AI for a while to interact with LLMs in the browser when handling sensitive data but I found their UI quite lacking for serious use so I built a much better interface around WebLLM. I’ve been using it as a therapist and coach. And it’s wonderful knowing that my personal information never leaves my local computer. Should work on Desktop with Chrome or Edge. Other browsers are adding WebGPU support as well - see…

GitGuessrFeb 2026 · gitguessr.com · ▲98I built this game as a playful way to train code reading skills. You're dropped into a random location in a real GitHub repo where some lines code are hidden. The goal is to pick up clues from the surrounding code and fill in the missing lines as quickly as possible. It currently has curated game content for Python, TypeScript, JavaScript (by most metrics the top 3 languages on GitHub). I had the idea when it dawned on me that reviewing and understanding code spat out by an LLM is a key skill for the AI era. (I sincerely hope you're critically reviewing what your favorite LLM is serving…
LlamaPReview – AI GitHub PR reviewer that learns your codebase2024 · github.com · ▲102I built LlamaPReview to solve a common frustration: most AI code reviewers either require complex setup or don't truly understand project context. Key differentiators: 1. One-click installation through GitHub Marketplace - no configuration needed 2. Analyzes your entire codebase first to understand: - Project structure - Coding patterns - Naming conventions - Architecture decisions 3. Completely free with no usage limits 4. Fully automated PR reviews with zero human intervention required Technical implementation: - Built on top of llama-github (my open source project) - Focuses on deep code…

Lately I've felt exhausted due to the deluge of AI/GPT posts on hacker news, and have seen similar grumblings. I threw together this frontend that filters out anything with the phrases AI, LLM, GPT, or LLaMa for use until the hype dies down a bit. Before anyone asks, yes I did try to use ChatGPT to help, and while the code it provided was helpful, it needed some heavy bug-fixing. Edit: One other note I forgot to mention. The favicon is generated by Stable Diffusion, I asked it to generate an "Aritificial Intelligence Favicon", and then I added the red circle with line through it.

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Community, All the HN belong to you. This is an archive of hacker news that fits in your browser. When I made HN Made of Primes I realized I could probably do this offline sqlite/wasm thing with the whole GBs of archive. The whole dataset. So I tried it, and this is it. Have Hacker News on your device. Go to this repo (https://github.com/DOSAYGO-STUDIO/HackerBook): you can download it. Big Query -> ETL -> npx serve docs - that's it. 20 years of HN arguments and beauty, can be yours forever. So they'll never die. Ever. It's the unkillable static archive of HN and it's…
