What it does
A free calculator that converts BTC, ETH and SOL into real consumer-electronics purchasing power at today's market rate -- type an amount, see what it buys in gear like a PS5 or AirPods. Live prices, no account, no cookies. Note: this is a math utility only, not a live cart -- it doesn't check stock, reserve anything, or take a payment.
A free calculator that converts BTC, ETH and SOL into real consumer electronics at today
Coin balances are abstract. A PS5 is not. Type an amount of BTC, ETH or SOL (or a dollar figure) and this converts it into real consumer electronics at today's market rate. "How many" is the whole-unit count your amount covers at the list price shown, before shipping and taxes. Coin costs are computed from the live market rate above and move with it. The USD figures above are the listed prices at VoltVault , a crypto-only consumer electronics store in the Salt Lake City area. They were used because this calculator needed real prices for real current-generation hardware rather than made-up numbers, and because a store that prices in crypto is the honest place to draw them from. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
