DawnPulse
Plain-English morning analytics briefing for founders
What it does
Daily marketing analytics briefing in plain English: what changed, why, and what to do — plus 7-day projections, blended ROAS, and a budget simulator. Every metric is baselined against your own history, anomalies are flagged automatically, cross-referencing your channels for causes. The output isn't a chart you interpret — it's a sentence like "revenue fell 9% because returning-customer orders dropped while ad spend held steady, so check the win-back flow." You get the why, not just the what.
Daily marketing analytics briefing in plain English: what changed, why, and what to do — plus 7-day projections, blended ROAS, and a budget what-if simulator.
Marketing analytics in plain English — one briefing, every morning, every platform. DawnPulse is a daily briefing that reads every platform you use and explains why your numbers moved — not just that they moved. Connect Shopify, Mailchimp, or HubSpot in one click — or upload a CSV, Excel, or JSON export from any tool. Or auto-forward their automatic email reports: Meta Ads · Google Ads · Stripe · GA4 · WooCommerce · LinkedIn Ads · any other tool. Set it once and your data flows by itself — any CSV, Excel, or JSON export works too. If it can email or export a report, we can read it. The same engine that explains yesterday projects the next 7 days — so you can plan spend instead of reacting…from dawnpulse.org

- RTRead the Tape – Wordle for daytrading, five blind S&P 500 charts a dayJul 2026 · readthetape.cc · ▲70
Read the Tape gives players the same 5 S&P500 stock charts per day to predict. You select low, medium or high confidence and then call the chart UP or DOWN. It's a 1d chart which then resolves over 5 days. Alpha is scored against the Monkey Index, a basket of 11 random coin flips at low confidence which provides a tangible win/lose condition. We're two weeks in and some interesting data is being kicked up. Players like to call tops even though stonks go up- 60% of the 70 charts so far resolve higher, players' down calls have only been right 31% of the time. There's a full stats dive at…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
