db-ui

Hey! I needed a simple to use self-hosted web ui for managing db data. pgadmin is pretty complicated, adminer is pretty old-looking. Also, the stuff I need to do often feels doable by AI so I would like to have it integrated too. So I created my own. Currently works with postgres only (as this is the only DB I use) and connects to groq (they've a free plan and I didn't look further), not against adding alternatives if there's some demand for it. Dockerized, also pretty simple to run from source (implemented as a next.js app).

db-ui launched on June 12, 2025 with 12 votes, #1,876 of 7,999 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.

What it does

Open-source, self-hosted, simple, modern looking DB management UI, with support for AI chatting (bringing your own API key). Supports CRUD with UI for filters/sorts, running custom queries, exports to CSV, schema introspection.
