In plain words

Decoupled is a lightweight music player for iOS that allows users to manage and play their own music files. The app features a built-in file manager and supports multiple file transfer methods, including iTunes File Sharing, FTP, and WebDAV, giving users flexibility in how they load music onto their device. It is designed for users who want a simple, straightforward music player without unnecessary features.

If you answer with "yes" to any of these questions, Decoupled wasn't made for you. Sorry. There's one important thing though: due to limitations of the iOS platform, when transferring files via iTunes File Sharing, the newly transferred items will appear only when you tap the refresh button at the top, or the next time the app is launched. First you should open the in-app file manager ("Files"), and from there open the "Transfer" page. Now, you should choose whether you want to use an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla on macOS or Total Commander on Windows), or a WebDAV client (e.g. Cyberduck both for macOS and Windows) for transferring files. If you choose WebDAV, you can use a simple Web browser…from decoupled.app

I have a large collection of music files gathered over the years, so I was sorely missing a decent offline music player that can serve as a frontend for the collection. I tried several Mac apps over the years, but since streaming music is mainstream now, there aren't good offline music players that meet my needs. So I spent the last 3 months building Petrichor! The idea is to solve my problem and learn Swift UI development along the way, while giving back to the community with this open-source project! Here's a list of features it has, with more getting added in future; - Everything you'd…
