What it does
decube is a data observability platform that helps data teams better understand the health of data in their system and prevent data quality incidents. Make your data more reliable today.
Lineage traced. Quality monitored. Governance documented. Decube gives data teams and AI agents the trusted context to act, report, and prove it.
More data. More systems. More AI. Without the right context, teams struggle to know what their data means, where it came from, and whether they can trust it. "We run Snowflake, Databricks, and three BI tools. And our Chief Risk Officer still can't tell the regulator where our PII sits, or prove which version of Net Revenue is authoritative. Every audit is a month of pain." Assets are scattered across systems. Finding answers still depends on tribal knowledge. Without lineage, small changes create downstream failures nobody sees coming. Classification and lineage are mandatory. Most teams still rely on manual documentation. Weeks spent chasing documentation, ownership, and lineage shouldn't…from decube.io

It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I made a thing! In 2014, I was holding a stack of iPhones and thought to myself: "Hey, if I had each phone display a playing card, I could click a button and they'd shuffle themselves" I pared that idea all the way down to this: trading cards made of e-ink displays. Right now, each card costs me about $20 each, but with only a bit more scale, I think I can get that down to $10. In doing this project, I learned how to design electronics and circuit boards. I learned Rust and wrote my first driver, I upped my CAD skills, 3D printed, and did my first resin casting. I generated the images on the…
