Dense-zkVM
Hyper-mobile SDK for social apps using zero knowledge proofs
What it does
DenseZK is a mobile-first privacy engine delivering sub-second zero-knowledge proofs by replacing bulky general math with a "graph-native" architecture. It achieves a 17x performance boost and a tiny 500MB RAM footprint via a "split-witness" system: your phone keeps data private while a remote server handles heavy lifting blindly. This allows you to instantly prove identity or reputation, like 1,000 followers at a global scale without draining your battery or overheating your device.

Hi HN, We (myself, Adhyyan1252 and yush_g) are undergrad students that hacked out this side project last month during Hack Lodge[1] (the ideas and many of the underlying circuits for which came from the 0xPARC community[2])! We’re extremely excited to share this new primitive. Besides the technical challenges building this project that folks here would find interesting (fixing the ZK proof compiler, modifying nodeJS V8 params etc.), we think this is a very novel use case for ZK tech, and ECDSA inside ZK-SNARKs is a starting point that unlocks many other ideas! :D A summarized version of our…

Creator here. I was looking for something as simple as Backblaze Personal [1] but privacy focused and open source. This is my attempt to build that. Uses PyQt6 [2] for the GUI and Pyinstaller [3] for creating the platform specific binaries. The backup engine under the hood is Restic [4]. The server code is written in Laravel [5]. All the code is on GitHub [6]. I actually really like Backblaze (even use B2 for this offering behind the scenes) so this isn't meant to throw shade their way. Just wanted a private open source alternative. Something like Bitwarden but for backups. [1]…
- ZCzkGolf – Competitive optimization of formally verified circuitsJul 2026 · zk.golf · ▲69
Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) let an untrusted proved show that computation was executed correctly without revealing the inputs to the verifier. However to prove anything, the computation first has to be expressed as a circuit: a system of polynomial equations (constraints) over a finite field. Circuits are the assembly language of zk and every constraint costs prover (and sometimes verifier) time, so production circuits are aggressively hand-optimized. Over the last months, we have been experimenting with writing formal specifications instead and letting LLMs produce the circuits: as long as…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
