DeployOwl Managed Edge Load Balancer

Edge load balancer with WAF & SSL. Zero config.

What it does

DeployOwl's managed edge load balancer routes traffic globally, provisions SSL automatically, filters threats before they reach your servers, and fails over to backups instantly at $39/month, nothing to configure. 50M requests included. OwlGuard WAF, real-time edge analytics, and instant failover built in. No target groups, no IAM policies, no listener rules. Add your domain, point DNS, done. The same stack from separate providers costs $55–$113/month.

Route traffic intelligently across origins with DeployOwl's managed edge Load Balancer. SSL certificate generation, geo-aware routing, WAF integration, and real-time analytics — 50 million requests included for $39/mo.

DeployOwl's load balancer routes traffic across the edge, handles SSL automatically, filters threats before they reach your servers, and fails over to backups instantly — $39/month, nothing to configure. A production-grade load balancer on AWS means configuring target groups, health checks, listener rules, SSL certificates, security groups, and IAM policies — before your first request is routed. That's a DevOps afternoon minimum. DeployOwl's load balancer is point and go. Add your domains. Traffic routes. SSL provisions. Threats are filtered. Failover is automatic. Add domain → CNAME to edge → done. No target groups, no IAM policies, no listener rules. Every domain gets a certificate…from deployowl.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
