From the sources

Dia is the AI browser from The Browser Company. Chat with your tabs, write in your own voice, learn and plan faster, shop, and more — all with privacy that you control.

Dia is the browser for your best work. Get answers without having to ask, produce beautiful ready-to-share outputs, and stay focused in the best browser for your work day.

01 Start your day two steps ahead Before the day kicks in, Dia's Morning Brief lays it all out (calendar, inbox, key links) so you know exactly what you're walking into. 02 Synthesis you'll actually use Instead of bouncing between tools, just ask Dia. It gathers what's scattered across your tools (Slack, Notion, Calendar, and many more!) and turns it into a report worth sharing. 03 Find the answer without hunting it down Ask once. Dia digs into your full context, across GSuite, Slack, tabs, and more, and answers like someone who's seen every thread. Live Work Dia pulls together the places where work is actually happening (like GitHub and Notion) in your tab bar. Click once and land directly…from diabrowser.com

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

  • I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
